Is Osteopathy for you?
Many of our patients are not sure when they first arrive at the clinic as to whether osteopathy is right for them. A common question that’s asked is “should I be here seeing you or seeing a physiotherapist or chiropractor??” It’s a good question.
As osteopaths we try and treat our patients rather than trying to just treat the condition. Looking at many different parts of your body, how they interact with each other and how one issue can lead to another as our bodies try and adapt. Understanding what you use your body for on a day to day basis and how you’re managing your pain are all so important to build a cohesive and well rounded treatment program. Osteopaths have to train for 5 years to be able to piece all of these bits of the puzzle together so we can help you in the best way possible.
